Botulinum Toxin
We carry Gladerma's neurotoxin called Dysport. Dysport is a local muscle relaxant (or neuromuscular blocking agent) adapted from the botulinum toxin type-A and is used in both aesthetic and therapeutic indications. Dysport is an injection used to temporarily improve the appearance of your moderate to severe frown lines, crows feet, and static lines on the forehead.
We also carry Merz Aesthetics neurotoxin 'Xeomin'. XEOMIN® (incobotulinumtoxinA) for injection, for intramuscular use and is indicated for the temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe glabellar lines with corrugator and/or procerus muscle activity in adult patients.

What is Hyaluronic Acid?
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a sugar susubstance that is naturally present in the human body. It can hold 1000 times its weight in water-and helps keep the body hydrated and plump.
Just like collagen and elastin, the amount of naturally-occurring hyaluronic acid in our bodies decreases as we get older.
What is dermal filler used for?
Hyaluronic acid based filler is used to diminish lines, and restore fullness, and volume loss in various facial structures.
As we age, our faces naturally lose subcutaneous fat.
A single needle, and/or cannula technique is used when addressing signs of aging and rejuvinating the face.

Deoxycholic Acid
What is Deoxycholic Acid?
Deoxycholic Acid (Known as Belkyra in Canada, and Kybella in the USA) is a man made substance, when used correctly by medical professionals can be used to destroy fat cells permanently.
Common treatment areas:
The most common area it is used is: below the chin (double chin). Typically 3-6 treatments are required.
There are other off label areas that can be treated, such as:

***I.V. Therapy must be ordered 1 week in advance as its specifically made for you.
***A deposit is required at the time of booking. Deposit is 50% of treatment.
***Order Must be in by Monday at 9pm and will arrive the same week-Friday night. You then have 20 days to have the drip administered.
***You must drink plenty of water prior to treatment. This makes your veins easier to access.
***You can do each drip once every 4 weeks. You may do an alternative drip the following week.
Microneedling
We offer Microneedling with the E-Pen and also PRP (platelet rich plasma) with the Salient Centrifuge known as a Vampire Facial.
How does Microneedling work?
Microneedling is a procedure that uses small needles to puncture the skin. These micro-injuries then initiate a wound healing effect to stimulate the production of new collagen and elasticity of the skin.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
What is PRP?
PRP is a high concentration of platelets surrounded in its own plasma. A small amount of blood is drawn and the red cells are isolated from the platelet rich plasma. Since autologous PRP is processed from the patients own blood, there is virtually no risk of an allergic reaction or rejection.
How is your blood/plasma (PRP) collected?
-The practitioner draws an amount of blood similar to what is required for a basic lab test.
-The practitioner places the blood into a centrifuge and spins the blood at a very rapid rate to separate the platelets from the components of blood.
-The PRP is activated to release at least eight essential growth factors and signaling proteins.

PRP For Hair Restoration
Both men and women experience thinning hair and hair loss with age and hormone changes. Your PRP is taken (22ml) and then is injected into the area of thinning hair (scalp, sideburns, moustache, beard, and eyebrows).
Topical freezing is applied on the areas to be injected. The number of treatments required can range according to individual response, but generally 3 sessions are required to start. PRP Hair Restoration is a series of treatments spread out by 4-6 weeks.

B12 Injections
Vitamin B12 is an essential water-soluble vitamin that plays a role in many of your bodily functions: DNA production, red blood cells, and nerve cells.
A deficiency in vitamin B12 can lead to various health problems, ranging from fatigue to neurological (brain) disfunction. Without vitamin B12, a person may start to feel tired and weak due to megaloblastic anemia.
Vitamin B12 deficiency is common and because B12 is only found naturally in animal food sources, most vegans and vegetarians are deficient. It's important to note that if you do consume meat and animal food sources, you can still be deficient if your body doesn't absorb the B12 that well.
It is important to note B12 injectables enable the body to absorb vitamin B12 without it having to go through the digestive system.
B12 injections are prescribed by our Nurse Practitioner Maggie, and given in the arm muscle (deltoid) by the clinic Nurse Kerri.
Other signs and symptoms of being B12 deficient are:

What are varicose veins?
-Varicose veins are dilated, tortuous veins that are associated with incompetent valves which is a result from blood flowing back into the superficial veins. What is dermaplaning?

-A lash lift is a semi-permanent procedure that gives you the appearance of fuller, thicker eyelashes without the use of any leave-on chemicals or extensions. The natural lashes are boosted from the root, giving them a lifted, lengthened appearance. Tint is added to enhance colour.

Aesthetic Services
Brow Lamination:
Brow Lamination is a procedure to help tame unruly hair by perming to receive a soft feathery look, with all hair falling in the same direction. By doing so it creates the illusion of fuller, more defined brows, as if you had just combed eyebrow gel through them.
This is a great option for those with thin eyebrows who wish to give the appearance of thicker, fuller brows, with a nice crisp arch.
For those with thicker brows, that have a mind of their own, this will help tame, and keep those hairs in place.
Tint can be added to enhance colour.
